I wont lie, this has been harder than I thought it was going to be. This last week has been so busy and the 6 weeks ahead is going to be even worse. My pictures are, well, mediocre. Look at this brand new baby girl with her juicy little lips! She has the cutest little scowl ever, and I think its adorable! I had and still have the same scowl, so I feel ya Haddie girl! And her parents are the coolest people. We know all the same people and didn't know each other. Its a small small world! It was fun chatting and getting to know you guys. {Day 2}

Ruby is in the "pointer finger" stage. She discovers everything with that one finger, interestingly it is her left hand. I love how they notice the tiniest of detains, like a single blade of grass.

Rather than put my clients and followers through the pain of seeing a random picture every single day, I am going to do one big post a week of the pics I took every day. I think that will less painful for everyone.

365 Days {A Photographic Journey} {Day 1}

Today is the day! I am officially signed up for a new project that I am just ecstatic about! It is called "365 Days {A Photographic Journey}. I LOVE photography, it is my talent, my hobby but at the same time it is the thing that holds me back from taking the day to day pictures of my life. Sad but true. This project is going to change all that, or so I think. I hope to enhance my skills, my ideas, my creativity and most importantly my life and the wonderful things in it. Im going to photograph my kids, my family, my pets, house, friends, anything I find picture worthy, my life. I encourage anyone who wants to enhance their photo skills or to even capture a sneak peek into the next year of your life to join me. Head over to 365 Days {A Photographic Journey}. So...to start off on my first day why wouldnt I post nudies of my girls!?! I just did a mini shoot to capture this oh so precious age, which is my favorite so far. It displays Ruby's balancing skills as well as Lila's little dimples. I am dreading the day she grows out of those. If only they could stay this age forever. Ruby isnt totally in focus but I dont care. I want to remember this pic which is why I chose it.

Here is the last session to a 3 part series, and I bet their momma is SOOOOO glad! It is not easy preparing for pictures, especially when you are amazing and put together so many incredible outfits. How darling is this family! I absolutely love them! Suz and I go way back, and her little addition is just the sweetest little punkin around. Just for the record, Daniel wasn't so sure about the bike being in the background. knowing it could look cheezy. I think they are awesome, and with such a sweet bike you have to show it off sometimes. Plus its an awesome prop for this shoot! Love you guys! It was so much fun spending a few hours with you!

This handsome little man is my new little nephew. We are absolutely loving him and are so thankful to have another little man in the family. We were getting nervous that a bunch of little ladies were going to be running this family, which I am sure will still be the case, but at least we have a few little guys around to even things out. I don't think I could love this little miracle any more than if he were my own. Congrats Skiz and Amy! You did gooooooood! :)

Another gorgeous bride rockin' a beautiful dress and some dang cute shoes! We chatted in the back of a golf cart on the way to our destinations and also almost fell out of the cart a few times. Check out this gorgeous family. A pair of good lookin' parents with 5 beautiful children. Its not right that Sam looks that good for having triplets and twins. Amazing! I pray that I can look like that one day! The orchard was HEAVEN for these kids. They got to climb trees, pick apples and inch their way towards the deer that graced us with their presence. We even had a twilight moment, even though that wasn't my intention until after I took the pics. Pretty funny! Check back for the twins photo shoot later this week.

As promised...a little later than I had hoped, here are the rest of the pictures of the Morzelewski's. They are some of my very best friends and I just love them to pieces. They are the most wonderful and obviously beautiful family! You would never know that we were all being eaten alive by mosquito's. It was actually pretty ridiculous by the end of the shoot. Anything for pictures, right! Love you guys!

By the way...does anyone out there have a better program than photobucket for uploading images. I am SICK and TIRED of my images looking less sharp and having that slight blur. The resolution goes way down during the uploading process and it is making me crazy! Any suggestions would be fantastic.

Danika is sooooo teeny tiny and precious! For being so incredibly small she is one of the most alert and STRONG babies I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. I shot her moms bridals last June, the wedding in August, and this July I am taking her pictures. Its amazing to watch 2 people become a family then add to that family with these beautiful little babes. It has been a pleasure capturing the moments of these two and now Danika.

During this session I learned that dogs are just about the biggest distraction for little kids. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I could have been standing on my head with fireworks going off behind me and I don't think that would have made a difference. Even when they weren't looking at the camera, these boys were so dang cute and have the cutest little laughs ever! That and the fact that this family was so easy to get along with made this session so much fun!

I really LoVe this family. They really are SO wonderful in every way imaginable. Jeana and I became friends instantly when we realized that we had twins in common...that were born on the same birthday. I am hoping that my girls fall madly in love with these sweet boys. I am pretty much going to be in-laws with the Andersen's! :) I know this is the longest post ever with mass amounts of pictures, but I really couldn't help myself. These kids are WAY too gorgeous to post just one pic each. And they have the best personalities. My artsy side always seems to come out when I photograph older kids. Its SOOOOO FUN! These girls live in Denmark and flew all the way to Utah for these pictures!! Ha ha...just kidding! That would be too much pressure! They do live in Denmark, but are back in Utah visiting family for a few weeks. While here they decided they needed some pictures and I am so glad they did. They are beautiful, sweet, charming and so polite! You girls are awesome and made this session a breeze even though it was 95+ degrees!

My favorite sessions are when the weather is perfect, the setting is beautiful, the lighting is PERFECT and your clients are the sweetest most wonderful people ever!!! Well that was this session with Dalila...or Lila for short. I love this name for obvious reasons! :) Did I mention that this is my FAVORITE age to photograph. How great is it to have a job where I get to meet so many fantastic people and their darling children AND do what I absolutely LOVE. How lucky am I!?! Enjoy this presh little lady...Dalila.

A few times a year I like to donate my time and talents to a good cause. What better cause than the Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis. Suzie is my good friend from high school and has the sweetest little girl named Drae who has CF. Drae is such an inspiration to so many people. Her strength and determination are truly unbelievable. What a gift it was to be able to be there for a dear friend and her precious little one. Daniel and Suzie are the best parents to little Drae and such a great inspiration to the CF community. Posting pictures of my girls is harder than I would have thought. I get so busy with so much editing to do that I rarely get the chance to post my baby girls pictures! This particular session was...not the most pleasant! Considering the crying, the allergies Brody had, the tipping over, and just plain crankiness I think we got a few cute shots. I took a major risk in taking them on location at sundown trying to get the perfect gauzy light I wanted to get. Lets just say they were ready for bed. Was it fun?? NO! Was it worth it? Ask me in a few months when I will be glad I have these shots of them at 7 months old. :)

I have to say, I really enjoyed my session with this fantastic family!! Really! You guys were so much fun, so laid back and ready for anything. Talk about a meant to be photo shoot! Not only did the sweet mom of these AMAZINGLY DARLING twin boys call wanting a photo shoot, but we quickly realized that we had more than one thing in common. She obviously has twin boys, and I have twin girls...that were both born on November 17, 2009!!! Yes, our babies are the exact same age. How crazy is that!! I am telling you, it was meant to be. We have both agreed that we believe in arranged marriages. It would just be too perfect. I truly enjoyed this session for so many reasons! These boys are the sweetest most adorable little guys ever! I FOR SURE have to have twin boys after spending time with these little handsomes. Lets see if I get so lucky!

I think I am in love with Charlotte. Seriously! I would have kept her if I could, and this is coming from someone who has two 4 month olds. She is the sweetest, cutest, happiest little thing with the most awesome hair! This is even the hardest age to photograph and she managed to make it so fun. I think it goes without saying that she is adorable!

And of course I have to mention her adorable cousin Ben. I had to post pics of that sweet little face. Such darling kids!!

Preston is of my favorite little boys of all time. "P-Man" as we call him is a man among many little women. He is the sweetest, happiest, most precious little guy ever. This is my first session back from maternity leave, and its GOOD to be back!

This precious little guy has the most amazing hair ever! Its every mothers dream for her baby to have hair like this. And on top of that he has the juiciest lips ever. Heaven! Because this is my first session back and not buried in photo shoots I'm posting about a bazillion pics. There are too many cute ones to choose from!

Hi Everyone,
After a break that has seemed like an eternity, I am excited to say that I am booking for newborns, 6 months and 1 year photo shoots starting now. I will be shooting all other sessions starting March 1st. So, if you are having a baby or need some pics of your little ones I would love to book a session with you!! It has been so wonderful to have this break to spend with my little girls. I have plenty of pictures that I need to post of my little beauties.

Maternity Leave

It is now official! I am now on maternity leave from my photography until March 1st. I really apologize to all of you who tried to book sessions only to find out that I wouldn't be able to do them for you. It is so incredibly hard for me to turn anyone down. If you will be having a baby and need a newborn shoot anytime after December 15th please call or email me. I will most likely be able to do a session for you in my studio.

I will be creating Christmas Cards until mid November. If you would any of my cards please email me at lindsaywright12@gmail.com. Yet again, some more of my best friends in the world!! Kir and Morgan were extra concerned and felt guilty asking their 7 month pregnant friend to do a family session, so they decided to each do a mini session at the same location. Brilliant right!?!?! I would have done a full session for each of them if they would have even given me the option. So, if this location looks the same as the Ferrans its because it is. I LOVE mini shoots...and LOVE the Olsens more. I dont think I have ever seen Reese so subdued. She was just in her own little chill world.

Sometimes with kids this age there is no choice. I would like to thank Hadley for saying cheese more times than she bargained for. Especially in the last picture. She really went for it!! :)

Two newborn shoots in one week! How lucky am I!?!? This sweet little peanut is so adorable and looks exactly like her dad. There is nothing sweeter (in my opinion) than watching a brand new dad just adore and dote on his new baby, especially when it is a baby girl. And her mom who is a first time mom came in more prepared with anything we were going to need as well as props!! It was amazing! I am so glad that Lily finally gave in and allowed her eyes to rest. What a beauty!
