{Day 2}

Ruby is in the "pointer finger" stage. She discovers everything with that one finger, interestingly it is her left hand. I love how they notice the tiniest of detains, like a single blade of grass.



Rather than put my clients and followers through the pain of seeing a random picture every single day, I am going to do one big post a week of the pics I took every day. I think that will less painful for everyone.

365 Days {A Photographic Journey} {Day 1}

Today is the day! I am officially signed up for a new project that I am just ecstatic about! It is called "365 Days {A Photographic Journey}. I LOVE photography, it is my talent, my hobby but at the same time it is the thing that holds me back from taking the day to day pictures of my life. Sad but true. This project is going to change all that, or so I think. I hope to enhance my skills, my ideas, my creativity and most importantly my life and the wonderful things in it. Im going to photograph my kids, my family, my pets, house, friends, anything I find picture worthy, my life. So...to start off on my first day why wouldnt I post nudies of my girls!?! I just did a mini shoot to capture this oh so precious age, which is my favorite so far. It displays Ruby's balancing skills as well as Lila's little dimples. I am dreading the day she grows out of those. If only they could stay this age forever. Ruby isnt totally in focus but I dont care. I want to remember this pic which is why I chose it.

Kaehler & Brekken

Here is the last session to a 3 part series, and I bet their momma is SOOOOO glad! It is not easy preparing for pictures, especially when you are amazing and put together so many incredible outfits. Seriously Sam, you have a gift! You should be a personal shopper / designer. Your stuff is so amazing! These kids are so gorgeous and are officially some of my favorite clients ever. Until next year!!

Daniel, Suzie & Drae

How darling is this family! I absolutely love them! Suz and I go way back, and her little addition is just the sweetest little punkin around. Just for the record, Daniel wasn't so sure about the bike being in the background. knowing it could look cheezy. I think they are awesome, and with such a sweet bike you have to show it off sometimes. Plus its an awesome prop for this shoot! Love you guys! It was so much fun spending a few hours with you!

Natalie : Senior Pictures

How beautiful is the girl!?! I took her pictures about a year and a half ago and its amazing how much she has grown up...into a true beauty! Her mom is like a sister to me, and I have to say that Natalie is a younger version of her gorgeous momma.

Baby Brian

This handsome little man is my new little nephew. We are absolutely loving him and are so thankful to have another little man in the family. We were getting nervous that a bunch of little ladies were going to be running this family, which I am sure will still be the case, but at least we have a few little guys around to even things out. I don't think I could love this little miracle any more than if he were my own. Congrats Skiz and Amy! You did gooooooood! :)
